Martindale-Hubbell gives Carter “AV Preeminent" status

Written by Carter Hick on November 07 2016

Carter has again received an "AV," or "Preeminent," rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the nation's oldest peer review rating service. Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review ratings are an objective indicator of a lawyer's high ethical standards and professional ability, generated from evaluations by other members of the bar and the judiciary in the United States and Canada. AV Preeminent is a significant rating accomplishment - a testament to the fact that Carter's peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.

On October 18, 2016, the League of Women Voters of Thurston County (LWVTC) sponsored a forum for the Washington State Supreme Court candidates.  Three of the sitting Justices are up for reelection, and all three are being challenged.  True to form, the LWVTC, along with its partners, organized a great event.  It  was a wonderful opportunity for the public to hear from the candidates and to ask questions.

Carter Hick, PLLC sponsors Brighten Lives Luncheon

Written by Carter Hick on June 07 2016

Senior Services for South Sound (SSSS) is an organization that provides essential services to folks over the age of 55 who desperately need it. These individuals are less fortunate, frail and at risk. One of the programs, Meals-on-Wheels, often provides the only meal and human contact some elders receive.

The Brighten Lives Luncheon is an annual fundraiser that SSSS relies on to ensure the Meals-on-Wheels program continues.  I am more than happy to support this great organization/program.
